All prices are subject to availability at the time of booking. Prices may change at any time without prior warning or notice.
Booking and Payment
We will require a valid credit / debit card when booking to confirm your reservation. Alternatively you may send us a cheque for the full booking value within 5 days of making the booking. If we have not received your cheque within 5 days, your reservation may be cancelled. We reserve the right to charge the card as detailed below in the event of a no-show or should the booking be cancelled. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make any charges as per below without additional consent being required.
Cancellation Policy
Your reservation is made with the Swan Inn & Restaurant (“the hotel”) and represents a legally binding contract between you and the hotel.
More than 48 hours notice - NO CHARGE
Less than 48 hours notice - full value of the first night's stay will be charged
Offers
Please note that special offers are available on room prices and packages from time to time but cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. These are non-refundable and 100% of the total booking will be charged in the event of cancellation or no-show.
Children
The Swan Inn & Restaurant is an ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday. As such, although children are genuinely welcome to stay with us, we would kindly ask that parents ensure their children act appropriately around the building and do not disturb the quiet enjoyment of other guests. A single child aged 12 and under may share a Deluxe room with 2 adults at an extra charge of £35 per night . If you have two or more children an extra room will be needed. Cot hire is charged at £25 per stay. Only children aged over 12 may eat in the restaurant in the evenings. For younger children we can provide an early supper between 6pm and 7pm.
Dogs
We are happy to accept dogs at a small surcharge with prior arrangement and agreement. However, as with our policy on children, we would ask that dogs be well behaved and not affect the enjoyment of our other guests who are on holiday too. They will require their own bedding to sleep on though we do provide doggie towels to wipe their dirty paws if it’s wet outside. Dogs are welcomed with a bag of special biscuits and are charged at £10 per night, with a maximum of 2 dogs per room.
Smoking Policy
By law, smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel.
Check In/Out Times
Check in is between 4.00pm and 10.00pm unless by prior arrangement. Check out is by 10:00am during the week and 11:00am at weekends.
Restaurant
Our restaurant is open to residents and their guests for evening meals . Pre-booking is required if you would like an evening meal on the first night of your stay.
Special Dietary Requirements
We regret that we are not able to accommodate anyone with a serious and / or life-threatening nut or food allergy as we cannot guarantee the provenance of every item of food in our kitchen. We are happy to cater for other dietary needs where possible, such as gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan diets, but please tell us at the time of booking as we can provide a much more interesting menu with prior notice.
Single Saturday nights
We normally require a minimum 2-night stay at the weekend: if available, single Saturday nights are released 3 days ahead.
Damage
We reserve the right to charge for the replacement, cleaning or repair of any item(s) belonging to the hotel, or the fabric of the hotel itself, damaged either willfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken. In this event your credit card will charged without prior consent being required for the costs incurred.
Wireless Internet Access
Free wireless internet access is provided throughout the hotel, subject to our separate Terms & Conditions.
